“Taming the Giant Corporation”
Here is Lucy speaking on You Tube on “Closing down the tax haven racket” at the “Tame the Giant Corporations” conference in Washington DC, June 8, 2007. She talked about effective strategies for addressing corporate offshore tax haven abuses.
The event, sponsored by Ralph Nader and the Center for Study of Responsive Law, explored strategies that the citizens’ movement can use to challenge corporate power.
She also speaks about “BCCI’s Double Game: Banking on America, Banking on Jihad,” her chapter in “A Game As Old As Empire” (Berrett-Koehler, San Francisco, 2007). That deals with the international BCCI bank scam that led to a $10 billion collapse in 1991 and involved the Bushes and the Saudis.
A member of the Drama Desk in New York, she organizes and leads group theater parties that include pre-theater briefings and post-theater discussions of the plays.
