NYC celebrates St. Pat’s day with bagpipes, kilts and humor

It was a bit chill on St. Patrick’s Day in New York in spite of March 17th being a few days before the start of spring, but the marchers on Fifth Avenue didn’t seem to care. Even if many were bare legged with kilts. I loved the bagpipers, especially the ones in red jackets.

I also favored the grandiose drum major leading his band.
Staten Island was represented by the ladies of the Ancient Order of Hibernians.
Let’s admire the carpenters who help build our houses. Though then they probably wear jeans!

There was a military band. When I see folks in uniform, I’d rather these be the metal in their hands.

To end it all, a word to remind people not to overdo the celebration!

Thanks, Lucy. Hope you are well. We have just witnessed criminal incitement by our country.

    Best regards,

    Bob
